A Full Nuremberg Experience in Just 3 Days (Itinerary)

Three days is the perfect amount of time to explore Nuremberg if you want to really dive into the details of the city. With this much time, you can spend more time in the museums, explore the medieval center without rushing, and enjoy different city scenes at various times of the day.

You can get an idea of what to expect or learn more about the attractions and experiences in this 3-day itinerary by checking out my list of things to do in Nuremberg or my discovery guide to Nuremberg. Be sure to check them out!

Note: Similar to my 2-day Nuremberg itinerary, this one doesn’t follow a strict order. You can do “Day 2” or “Day 3” on your first day in Nuremberg, and the same goes for your last day—you can choose to do “Day 1” or “Day 2.” Don’t worry about the naming—this itinerary is flexible, so feel free to arrange it based on what you want to see first. Just make sure to follow the order of destinations for each day since they’re planned around opening/closing hours and the best times to visit.
